“Cristin is a very talented animator and a great worker. She never
lets her animation be just meaningless movement, as she always goes beyond
expectation and finds entertaining inner forces to drive her animation. Her
work ethics are impeccable, she has a strong and yet adaptable workflow, she
knows how to prioritize, and her attitude is straight forward. As a colleague
she will never let you forget any of the principles of animation and will
definitely challenge your ideas to make them better. It will always be a pleasure
to work with her.” November 13, 2010

Freelance Animator at Zoetifex
“I brought Cristin on to work on an animated short for me (Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Birds). Cristin showed a whole lot of potential in her demo reel so I was looking forward to working with her. She didn't hesitate to jump on one of the most important parts of the short and that was the opening animation. It's the piece that sets the tone for the whole project and she did an excellent job introducing everyone to Alfred. Her attention to detail was outstanding and she really took feedback well and was able to quickly make adjustments to the scene. I was very happy with the outcome and I really look forward to working with Cristin again on my next project.” February 10, 2010

Michael Kadrie
hired Cristin as an Animator in 2009
Senior Animator at Anzovin Studio
“Cristin is a talented animator with a particular gift for getting the right sort of weight and heft to the movement of a character. But what is most impressive about her work is her constant drive to improve a shot, not only in it's details, but in its most basic building blocks of pose and timing. Even under tight deadline, Cristin was always able to turn in something with well-considered and pleasing animation.” July 16, 2009

Animator at Bit Films
“Cristin has been a major contributor to two Bit Films projects thus far. She is not only an animator able to create terrific performances; she is also a soft-spoken leader who demonstrates by example how to get the most out of a pose, a shot, and a crit session. She was one of the most experienced animators when we began "The Incident at Tower 37" and was a wonderful role model for the younger animators on the crew. I look forward to working with Cristin again when circumstances permit!” July 13, 2009

Student at Animation Mentor
“It has been such a pleasure getting to know Cristin at Animation Mentor. I definitely consider Cristin as one of the top students in my class at Animation Mentor whose work inspires others. Besides her strong animation skills such as pushing a character's performance and having a good eye for subtlety, she also possesses an equally strong sense of work ethic. She is also a reliable peer who provides positive and constructive criticism. I have no doubt that Cristin will be a great addition to her future employers. I look forward to getting the chance to work with her in the future!” August 1, 2009
Van Nguyen , Student , Animation Mentor

“I found that Cristin consistently excelled at her class assignments, many times putting a good deal more into them than was asked for. Our class focused on acting. She seems to show a natural talent for sincere performance both in her reference and in her characters, often capturing that elusive spark of life in her animation.” July 30, 2009
Mark Behm , Artist , Valve Software

“Cristin has a gift in capturing those really subtle nuances in character animation that you don't necessarily see, but you feel! During my time at Animation Mentor she was one of those students you really keep an eye on because her work is inspirational and she really raises the bar. She would be a tremendous asset for an animation studio looking for quality Animators!” July 20, 2009
Martin Sen , Senior Animator , Anamazing Workshop
studied with Cristin at Animation Mentor
Student at Hampshire College
“Cristin, a Hampshire College student, was in my animation classes at the University of Massachusetts due to the open exchange of students among the Five Colleges in the Pioneer Valley. She brought a dedication to her work and a willingness to experiment which impressed me from the first day we met. Although the UMass computer animation lab was open to her, the problem of scheduling hours in the lab with time to commute meant that Cristin's projects were done almost entirely by herself on her own equipment. Missing the group support seemed not to faze her, as she went ahead to complete a body of work through class assignments and independent projects that represented her as a clearly accomplished filmmaker by the time she graduated from Hampshire. In the years since, she has managed to work steadily at the only professional computer animation studio in Amherst, and recently completed a rigorous course of study with the Animation Mentor program. The quality of the work on her reel is superior. I am sure Cristin will make a valuable contribution to any animation project she works on.” August 16, 2009
